• Adjustable wrench or rubber mallet (shelf assembly)
• Spray bottle
• Hobby knife or scissors (foam cutting)
• Marker for layout tracing
• A second computer to flash the SD card
• Soldering iron, fine tip
• Multimeter
• Wire strippers, small flush cutters
• Hot glue gun (strain relief)
• A second computer with the Arduino IDE or QMK toolchain installed
• Soldering iron, 40W or better (small irons can't heat the tabs fast enough)
• Screwdrivers, possibly Torx security bits (many packs use them)
• Multimeter (a $15 one is fine)
• Safety glasses - this is the non-optional tool
• Phone camera for documenting the cell layout
• A second computer to make the installer USB
• Your home Wi-Fi router (one settings change, optional)
• A computer to flash the SD card and SSH from
• Access to your router's admin page
• Circular saw or hand saw
• Drill/driver
• Staple gun (for screen)
• Tape measure and square
• An oven thermometer you don't mind living in the box
